What my grade should be
Grades, grades are what makes a person succeed in life or fail but more importantly it can affect sports. Sports are a major part of my life and I always try to succeed in those and my grades. The grade I think in this class should be a B because I have learned a lot in English and I want to prove to you that I am just as successful in the classroom like I am on the football field.
I know that maybe you think that I should have a C in the class because I don’t participate in class enough or maybe that I don’t do all my blogs or don’t do them on time. But there are many pluses of my work in class and I will tell you why.
This year in English there has been a lot of stuff I learned and some of the stuff I learned I know I will use in future classes and in life. One thing I learned was MLA formatting. MLA formatting is when you put citations which are your name, the person who wrote the section, the subject, the website, the date. This is very important for citing books, news stories, and other stories that need to have credit in your paper. MLA formatting is very important because I will be using it for the rest of high school and throughout college. Another thing I learned it TPFASTT which is used for poems and other writings. The steps for TPFASTT it title, paraphrase, figurative language, attitude, shift, title, theme. TPFASTT helps with understanding the meaning of songs, poems, and stories. How I could use this in life is I could use it to understand my favorite stories and songs and use it in school with poems.
My work in English is important to me like my effort and work in football. In football I put 110% in all my work, blocking, and running, and learning my plays. Same goes for English I put 110% in studying and learning all the stuff in English.
English this year has helped me with many things and I have learned a lot of things and hoping to put all my skills I learned this year into the future. But the main question is do you really want to fail your future star right tackle?
